“A perfect storm”
That’s what my menopause specialist GP said as she patiently listened to me recount the ups—and the countless dives—of the last five years.
I had been holding everything together with sheer willpower, convincing myself that if I just tried harder, I could keep up. But something had shifted.
My usual resilience was gone. My energy had disappeared. My brain felt like it was operating in slow motion.
