What is this? Who am I? Why are we talking about midlife and neurodivergence?
Midlife isn’t just a season—it’s a reckoning. A time of profound shifts, deep questioning, and, let’s be real, some serious WTF moments.
We’re navigating career pivots, shifting identities, raising kids, caring for aging parents, and trying to figure out why we walked into the kitchen (again).
And for many of us, there’s another layer we’re only just beginning to untangle: the intersection of ADHD (or other neurodivergence) and perimenopause.
If any of this sounds familiar, you’re in the right place.
Who am I?
I’m Robyn. Writer, ex-flight attendant and World explorer, lifelong people connector, and a midlife woman figuring this all out alongside you. ADHD and neurodivergence have surrounded me all my life, and I have had periods of wondering why I seem to be running a different operating system. Add perimenopause to the mix, and suddenly, the quirks, struggles, and superpowers of neurodivergence take on an entirely new dimension.
I’ve spent years sharing my experiences online—about health and wellbeing, fitness, life transitions, and now, this next chapter. But this topic? It’s raw, personal, and deeply important. That’s why I’ve created this space, away from the noise, to have real conversations about what it means to navigate neurodivergence and midlife at the same time.
What is Peridivergence?
It's a made-up word. It’s the messy, fascinating, often-overlooked overlap of ADHD (and other neurodivergent traits) with the hormonal rollercoaster of perimenopause.
Many of us are only just discovering how much our brains are affected by fluctuating estrogen, how much hormonal shifts exacerbate executive dysfunction, and how little mainstream advice actually accounts for women in midlife—especially neurodivergent women.
This space is for:
Women diagnosed with ADHD (or self-identifying as neurodivergent/ADHD) navigating midlife
Those curious about the link between perimenopause and neurodivergence
Anyone who feels like traditional discussions around menopause don’t quite fit their experience
Women seeking community, connection, and candid conversations about what’s really going on
Why a Paid Community?
Because these stories matter, and they deserve to be shared in a space that’s protected, intentional, and free from random lurkers.
I’ve spent years creating free content, but this next step feels different. More personal, more intimate, and, honestly, deeper. By making this a paid community, we’re creating a space where people who join actually want to be here. Where we can dive deeper, ask real questions, and share openly without worrying about judgment or public scrutiny.
What You’ll Get as a Member:
Weekly Wednesday deep-dive newsletters on topics like ADHD in midlife, perimenopause, hormones, mental health, work, relationships, and everything in between.
A private, vetted community where we can share our experiences, ask questions, and feel truly seen.
A no-pressure space where you can participate as much or as little as you want—but always know there’s a seat at the table.
Why This Matters
Women are master communicators, but we’re also often alone in our struggles. Sharing our stories helps us feel seen, validated, and less alone. This is a space where we can be real about our challenges, our wins, and the things that still confuse the hell out of us.
I’m not coming into this as an “expert.” I’m here as a woman walking this path alongside you, sharing what I’ve learned (and am still learning) along the way.
